So we all saw the departure of Qantas’ 747 VH-OJM not too long ago to make room for the new Dreamliner in the fleet.

It’s sad to see the end of an era with the 747 really making Qantas what it is today as far as international travel goes.

It is inevitable that sooner or later older aircraft will retire and we will move on to something newer and more efficient but it still is sad.

Anyone have any guesses which will be the next 747 to be retired and when?  Leave your comments below.
